Hello! Thank you for stopping by! I am Gayathri Vinod. I am a Tam Bram who grew up in New Delhi in a middle class household with no access to any kind of jewellery while growing up :)

And that’s why I cannot believe sometimes that I own this little labour of love that goes by the name - PotpourriStudio.

I am a software professional with over a decade and half of experience in the IT field.

I was working for a leading airline in the Middle East back in 2016 in a crucial role and PotpourriStudio was found in Oct, the same year over a cup of coffee & chit chat with my friends and family. It started as a gateway to express and showcase my creativity.

I have always believed in doing what your heart wants. Follow your heart, put in the hard work and everything will fall in place slowly.
That has been my mantra. So I took a leap of faith 6 years ago and opened up a page on Facebook with 15 neckpieces that I had made myself.
The collection got sold out within a week and that feeling was something I can never put in words.

I then continued working full time for the next 4 years with Potpourri alongside at my own pace.
Slowly and steadily it started taking shape by receiving a lot of love from people all over the world.
So when I had to choose between my full time high profile, high paying job and this passion - I chose the latter.

Owning a business, running it all alone isn’t always easy. It is always crazy! Some days are crazier than the others. But I would say it’s all worth it. And a big part of that is because of - YOU.

The constant love that I have received from you all over the years is something I will always be grateful for everyday.

I have been thinking of a website for a long time now and finally decided to give it a go. I know I am late to the party and there is a lot of work to be done and I cannot wait, but for now I am happy that it is live & working :)
